Rosie is a dynamic and versatile freelance saxophonist based in London, performing across the UK and internationally. Known for her vibrant stage presence and expressive playing, Rosie brings her unique sound to a wide range of musical styles—from classical and big band jazz to Drum and Bass, Club Classics, and beyond. Rosie has the versatility to bring the musical spark needed to make your event shine.
Rosie completed an undergraduate degree at the University of Birmingham majoring in conducting. After years on the professional scene as a saxophonist, she recently completed her postgraduate degree in Performance at the London College of Music, achieving a Distinction.
A true multi-saxophonist, Rosie appears in a variety of settings: as a solo act, alongside DJs, in function bands, orchestras, and bespoke ensembles. Her career has seen her share the stage with renowned acts such as The English Beat, DJ Hype (with Symphonica ft. Mr Switch), and Sonique (with the Birmingham Gay Symphony Orchestra).
She has performed at prestigious venues including Birmingham Symphony Hall, Warwick Castle, Brangwyn Hall (Swansea), Amsterdam’s Melkweg, and the luxurious Joali Maldives.
Beyond live performance, Rosie is also an accomplished arranger and session musician. She writes and arranges horn parts for function bands, saxophone quartets, and original artists, and has recently been collaborating with emerging talent from across the London music scene.
She also teaches woodwind (saxophone, clarinet, flute and recorder) and piano across North London, in schools and privately.
She is a member of the Musicians' Union (MU) and has an Enhanced DBS Check.
